Built a site in Figma Make? Turn it into editable Figma layers you can restyle, reuse and hand off. Paste your published link, and we open it in a new Figma file for you.
Publish in Make
Click Publish in Figma Make and copy the .figma.site link.
Paste it here
Pick the screens you want: desktop, tablet, mobile.
Open in Figma
One click opens a new Figma file in a new tab. Paste, done.

Frame it, then auto layout
Select a section and press Shift+A. Figma guesses the stack and spacing; check the gaps match your scale.
Make the repeats components
Buttons, cards and nav links come in as copies. Make one a component (Ctrl+Alt+K), then swap the rest for instances.
Install the fonts
Text stays editable, but Figma needs the same font. If you see a missing-font warning, add it from Google Fonts or swap it.
Let Claude do the tidy-up
With the Figma MCP, ask Claude to add auto layout and components section by section. Our guide has the prompts.
Want Claude to do the cleanup? Set it up with our Figma MCP + Claude guide. New to auto layout? Learn it free in Learn Figma.
It’s free, and it works on any Figma plan, including the free Starter plan. You only need to publish your Make site, which you can do on any plan.
Make files are private, so no outside tool can open them. A published .figma.site link is public, so we can open it, read the finished page and turn it into layers.
Text (as real text layers), backgrounds, borders, rounded corners, gradients, shadows, images and icons (as vectors). Everything is named after what it is: Header, Section, Button, Card, Icon.
Auto layout, components and variables, because a website doesn’t have them. Hover states, animations and other pages of your app don’t either: each conversion is one page, at one moment. Convert other pages by publishing and pasting their links.
Yes. Open that page on your published site, copy the address from the browser bar, and paste it here.
No. We open the page, convert it and send it straight back to you. Nothing is saved on our side.
Figma doesn’t let outside sites put layers into your files. So we open a fresh file for you with the design on your clipboard, and one paste drops it in.
Use Download .svg and drag the file onto the Figma canvas instead. Very large pages can be too much for the clipboard.
More free tools
Make gets you a first draft fast. Knowing what to keep, what to fix and why is the design work, and it’s what our course teaches: foundations, research, UI, design systems and AI tools from day one, with mentors and real projects.
